Battle Symphony by Linkin Park released for the album “One More Light“, which is a pretty goofy album for Linkin Park! They’re mostly known for their first two albums “Hybrid Theory” and “Meteora“, which were both albums with the main genre of Nu Metal. Along with that, their previous album, “The Hunting Party“, was also Alternative / Nu Metal, so when it came out that One More Light was going to be a Pop / Pop Rock album, people were understandably a bit confused and concerned.
That being said, that doesn’t mean that the album is bad for being different! One of my favorite songs off the album is Battle Symphony, which has a simple but powerful of just fighting everything that comes up in life. Sometimes we fall, and all we have is ourselves to get back up again and to keep going. Along with that, it’s a very catchy and nice song to listen to, and it honestly makes me feel the feels sometimes. While it may not have the heavy guitars or raw strength that their older music is known for, it still carries the emotional weight that their songs have always been good at showing. Overall, even though One More Light was a shift in style for the band, it’s still an amazing album to listen to, and I highly recommend you give it a listen if you have the chance.

Once again, on the arbitrary scale that I have made, I rate this song 13 Guardians out of 3 Zonai Constructs for making me feel the feels :3
As a side note, I just wanted to leave a short note here about Chester. I think all fans of Linkin Park and beyond can say that we love and miss you, Chester Bennington. May you forever rest in peace, you absolute king of nu-metal. Even though Linkin Park has a new singer all these years later, we will never forget you.
